Memorium Typeset
Set up with a season of Gilmore Girls and a bunch of caffeine last night I typeset this lovey dove quote. The typeface is Memorium, and the peony photo comes courtesy of Flickr Commons.

Uploading-artifacts Appreciation
For years i've been collecting screenshots of my uploading-interface artifacts from facebook and various blogs. I always like seeing how they grid and reorganize my photos. They often create unintentional diptychs, triptychs – that I wouldn't have created myself. I'm a huge fan of these little accident layouts that I have nothing to do with.
Homeland
Photos from this week and the last few. Pirate Store under construction on Valencia. L-Muni Train in the AM. Liz profile in window light. Our light and dish filled sink. Sophie and Kristi through a window at Sing For Your Supper, and my two roommates chatting on the roofdeck.

Toys
I shot my notebook Things Organized Neatly style this afternoon with a few other accoutrements, and [screen]shot my desktop the other day as I worked on some little vector toys.
Lately I'm finding that I *need to do things with my hands while I'm watching TV shows. So, as I caught up on Madmen last night I got out the watercolors and also printed out this sweet template from Minieco to make papercraft diamonds. They look great on her site and I'm excited to post mine when they're finished. And what to do with them....? Possibly expect some papercraft jewelry in the future.

Lancaster Corn Fields
I realized I never put up Lancaster photos in the first place, aside from three a few posts ago,
so here are bunch! And they're in a field, which is appropriate for my blog.
Thank you to The Color Shop for the curves I've used on these.
